Guards::systems Material::removed Topic::fixed Color::possible Where::tools Attached::remain
I came across this while stub-sorting, corrected its malformed title, looked around to see whether the topic was duplicated anywhere in the encyclopedia and couldn't find it. Clearly an important topic, but perhaps WP is a bit light on material related to "metal-bashing" as compared to IT.
I provided an OSHA ref as an external link; there is also material at UK HSE site eg this
which includes EHSR 18.104.22.168. of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC says: "22.214.171.124. Fixed guards: Fixed guards must be fixed by systems that can be opened or removed only with tools. Their fixing systems must remain attached to the guards or to the machinery when the guards are removed. Where possible, guards must be incapable of remaining in place without their fixings."
. Machinery Directive
is a redlink in the list at List of European Union directives
, and EHSR only appears in en.Wiki as a name of a railway company, so there's scope for a lot more work here. PamD
