egg yolk? "Paint was made with the yolk of eggs" - I would question this. The yolk is (a) coloured and (b) likely to rot as it is very nutritious. In my very limited experience egg white goes clear and hard and does not rot, so it would seem to be more likely. Perhaps someone could confirm this?
