George R. Viscome (born 1956) is an American astronomer. He also worked as a broadcast technician in Albany, New York.<ref name="MPC"/>

He has discovered 33 asteroids;<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> in 1987 his observations lead to the identification and number of asteroid 6183, which was named in honour of him as a result.<ref name="MPC">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=book }}</ref>
