SM Town (stylized as SMTOWN) is the umbrella name for the recording artists under South Korean entertainment company, S.M. Entertainment. Each year, SM Town artists come together to collaborate and perform in a summer music festival that can last up to five to six hours. These music festivals have since been replaced by SM Town Live world tours, starting with the SM Town Live '08 Asia tour in 2008.
