Aries is better known for working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, where he is a six-time TNA X Division Champion, with his first reign lasting 301 days and remains the longest in the history of the championship. Aries is also a one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, and one-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, making him the fifth TNA Triple Crown Champion. He is also known for performing in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he became the first two-time ROH World Champion.
