Aldrich Hazen Ames is an American who was convicted of espionage against his country in 1994. He is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole in the high-security Allenwood U.S. Penitentiary.<ref name="Federal Bureau of Prisons">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation
