The Cragg Vale Coiners (sometimes the Yorkshire Coiners) were a band of counterfeiters in England, based in Cragg Vale, near Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire. They produced fake gold coins in the late 18th century to supplement small incomes from weaving.
